![]() ![]() You assume nobody is using increase height feature or purposefully altering floor calibrarion or just in game height calibration or simply game is tied to floor level at all. This is way more of an issue in flatscreen games lol. Youre an adult, you should be taller than kids. Put those devs into a mil-sim VR project and it'd be night and day.īut what do I know, I've only been a VR developer for 5 years. Same with HyperDash, incredibly polished VR title, just not the same type of gameplay. Contractors is a lot more polished, but isn't the same type of gameplay. If there were more games like it I don't think it would be as popular as it is. It's a cool game for what it is but for how long it has been out it should be a lot more polished. And all that I'd be money I'll experience again the next time I play on Quest. Or lagging out and dying from the person I just lit up point blank a second before. Or from the belt on an LMG just refusing to adhere to physics. Or how many times I couldn't revive someone because their rag doll was rolling away. Can't count the number of times I've died because the person I was shooting was behind an invisible collider that didn't actually fit the rock/fence/whatever they were sticking out from. Looks a lot better now, performance has gotten better, still has some crazy jank. It's always been janky, I've been playing it since the day it released for Vive on SteamVR years ago. Shouldn't be getting downvoted, it's only as popular as it is because nothing else like it has come out yet.
